Course Orientation Exercises
The following exercises will help you become familiar with the kinds of Internet-based applications that we will use during the semester, including how you can submit assignments, engage in class discussion, and so on; help you become familiar with the course syllabus; and help you assess your motivation for succeeding in an online course.

The amount of time that it will take to complete these orientation exercises will vary with each person. I don't expect that it will take anyone more than an hour or so to work through the exercises. Nonetheless, everyone should take the time to work through all of the exercises.

The orientation exercises and the Orientation Quiz should be completed and submitted by 19 January 2001. The quiz is worth four points.

Please follow very carefully the instructions for completing and submitting your Orientation Quiz. E-mail your completed Orientation Quiz (both parts) to me, Kurt Neumann (kneumann@harper.cc.il.us), by 19 January 2001.
