| For the first four weeks of the semester, this page and the "Schedule" section of Nicenet are your primary sources of assignment information. Those two sites will contain the same information. You should check either place (or both places) often. After the fourth week of the semester, Nicenet will become the primary source for the class schedule. At that point the Weekly Plans pages on the web site will be used only when Nicenet is unavailable.
In general, since there are four essays due during the semester, you can expect a finished essay to be due every three or four weeks. For each of these essays, you will write a rough draft, two peer response exercises, and a writer's postscript. Also, you can expect that three or four reading and responding exercises from the textbook will be associated with each of the four essays. Last, you can expect to be assigned a grammar exercise every three or four weeks. |
