GRADING

The final grade for the class will be awarded according to the following point system:

Map Quizzes:

8 @ 10 points each

Unit Exams:

3 @ 100 points each

TOTAL:

380 points

Letter grades: 90%=A, 80%=B, 70%=C, 60%=D, below 60%=F

    • A Study Guide was handed out in class on Wednesday, July 6.
    • READ the chapters in the textbook. Remember, the Introduction is a very important chapter
    • Learn the vocabulary listed at the beginning of each chapter AND know some examples of the concepts from the chapter. Do not just memorize the definition, but be able to apply the definintion -- KNOW SOME EXAMPLES.
