ECO 211 Students:
There will not be classes on-campus until at least April 13. From March 16 to April 12, you will be learning from home and won't come to campus. I have updated our SCHEDULE to reflect this. I am not sure when, or how, you will be taking exam 2, but you will not take it until after April 12. The final day to hand in paper 3 and 4 rewrites will be Wednesday, May 6.
I will be posting NEW LECTURE VIDEOS online every Monday and Wednesday to replace our on-campus classes. I hope that you continue studying each LESSON as you have been. Begin with the lesson "Introduction" and "Something Interesting". Then read the textbook, watch the Thinkwell Tomlinson videos, learn the "Key Terms", and take the lesson PRE-QUIZ. THEN, WATCH THE NEW LECTURE VIDEOS.
The new lecture videos will be a lot like our face-to-face classes. I will use the clicker quizzes and Yellow Pages just like we do in class. The new blank unit 3 Yellow Pages are available on our Blackboard site. We will use the Blackboard DISCUSSION BOARD for questions. To post a question go to Blackboard and click on DISCUSSION BOARD, then STUDENT QUESTIONS, and finally "Create Thread". As always, you can still email me or call me on my cell phone, but I would prefer that you post questions about the course content on the Discussion Board. If you use the Discussion Board then all students can read the discussion. It is strongly suggested that you SUBSCRIBE to the discussion board thread so that you get an e-mail whenever a new message is posted. Just click on the "Discussion Board" link, click on "STUDENT QUESTIONS", then click on the "Subscribe" button.
