Kimberley Polly received her B.S. degree in mathematics and in education in 1990 from the University of Wisconsin Platteville. She also received her mathematics teaching license in Wisconsin. After graduating, she taught math courses for the military and taught junior high for Department of Defense Dependent Schools on Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. She then continued her studies in Rolla, Missouri where she received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award 3 years in a row. She completed an M.S. degree in applied mathematics and completed all of the coursework for a PhD in statistics. She was a tenured faculty member at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois where she taught for the mathematics department for 8 years. She was also a lecturer for the mathematics department at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana from 2004 to 2009. She has recently moved back to Illinois and started teaching for the mathematics department at Harper College in the fall of 2009. She is looking forward to teaching in the community college environment again.
Kimberley enjoys spending time with her husband and their 4 children. She also enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
