Jonathan Meshes studied mathematics at Northern Illinois University, where he earned his B.S. in 2001, his master’s degree in 2004, and his PhD in 2008. His research was in using value distribution theory to study analytic functions in the complex unit disk, supervised by Dr. Linda Sons. Jonathan has worked as an adjunct for both Dominican University as well as North Central College before moving to Michigan for a full-time position at Kalamazoo College in 2009. After four years at K College, he started here at Harper in 2013.
Dr. Meshes spends most of his free time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys mountain climbing, running, biking, and do-it-yourself projects.
