Harper Technical Writing
WELCOME to the homepage for English 103, Technical Writing, at Harper College.
I am glad that you decided to enroll in this online technical writing class at Harper, even though learning online--especially studying writing online--might be a new experience for you. Indeed, there are some fundamental differences between learning online and learning in a traditional classroom. Rest assured, though, that there is one very important similarity: you will be working with other students. Hence, just as in a traditional classroom (perhaps even more so), I encourage you to rely on your classmates for information, ideas, and support. And, of course, I, your instructor, will be available to help you in any way that I can.

To start the semester, I'd like you to complete some orientation exercises, followed by an Orientation Quiz, Part One of which you will complete at the orientation session and Part Two of which is due 05 September 2007. To begin the orientation exercises, click on the "Start Orientation" link at the bottom of this page.
